About Me
Emily Powers is a queer playwright/comedian from Toronto who put away her toboggan to live in Los Angeles. Her comedic plays have been mounted internationally with Hart House Theatre, Cat’s Eye Theater The Complex Theater, Pink House Productions, Scranton Scratch Night and Playdate Theatre. She’s won the Robertson Davies Playwriting Award twice. She is published with Playwrights Canada Press. She’s a member of the Pack Sketch Team Corduroy and the production team Dramaterds.
